Young O and the dog were having fun exploring the woodland and rocks at Alderley Edge, a large outcrop with super views over Cheshire and towards the Pennines.  It is an area of old mine workings dating from Roman times and legends. Nearby we found delicious wild plums and managed to pick a small bagfull and some brambles.
