Tiny Tuesday

I have been wanting to blip this for awhile and today it fits the challenge of “mineral / crystal” set by McCaviti. This brooch was given to Mum by her father for a special birthday. I’m not sure of any other details but remember thinking it was SO beautiful when I was young. I don’t remember Mum ever wearing it. I’m not sure what it’s made of. There is a marking on the back JEWEL CREST which seems to be a reputable jeweller.  I would like to see it photographed with a decent macro lens not just my old phone. 

I had another full day; walk, visit a friend and have a tour of her new house, gardening, phone call from cousin M, plus all the little jobs not worth listing.
