Slightly Different

I headed off to Peebles this afternoon to have the rear brakes on the car looked at (they are still not gripping the full width of the discs).

So I had a while to wander along the Tweed.

But first thing was to grab a sausage roll for lunch and just sit and watch the seagulls.
I also watched a herd of goosanders (I think - DaveH will probably be along to tell me I am wrong) fishing. God they are fast................

Peebles has quite a distinctive church tower right at the end of the main street.
I have always wanted to try and get a slightly unusual shot of it. Maybe I succeeded today - then again, maybe I didn't.

I wanted to get shots of the very small flowers --- some would say weeds --- that were growing on the side of the road bridge but the slight breeze and the bright light on the screen made it really hard.
I am not really that pleased with the old tin footbridge shot either.

As for the brakes ........ the garage is waiting for confirmation from Honda that they can change the calipers under warranty.
