At Last !!!

For years I've been wanting to take the children at school to the sea as so many of them have never been. Some of them have been 'practising' in a sandpit but today was the real thing!

We had a fantastic day, the weather was perfect, we made sandcastles, went for a walk, did some beach-combing, ate chips and paddled in the sea.

I can't express the pleasure it gave me seeing their faces when they saw the sea for the first time - worth the wait!

And we're planning next year's trip already - yey!!
