Birthday

I expected it would rain as it usually does on my birthday! Had an exciting day of a trip to Matalan in torrential rain, followed by some household cleaning, a visit to the Nurse Clinician at the GP surgery and a trip to Tesco for a prescription. I went to discuss my cardiology letter (it was 5 months ago) but she also discussed my recent Derm visit and my blood tests (ages ago, showing anaemia). apparently I was supposed to have been prescribed iron tablets for 3 months near the end of last year! I have been asking about these outstanding things for a while, to no avail. At least now I have the iron tablets prescribed. The nurse clinician was very good today but this has been too long in coming.
She was concerned about my oxygen levels (92%) and I pointed out that the anaemia might not be helping! She found some crackles at the base of both lungs so now I am on antibiotics. 
I'm looking forward to our holiday!
