Monday: Flowers in the Rain

I woke up a couple of times during the night, the rain was torrential - it had rained all night, eased off by morning but still heavy rain as we had breakfast.

I had a very lazy morning of catching up on my family tree and replying to a message from a cousin in South America …

Rain had eased by late morning so I had a wander around the garden, the rain had been very heavy so emptied lots of water from trays under flower pots - won’t need the watering can for a while! :-)

Afternoon remained grey, overcast and damp …
