HEADLAND WILDLIFE
Another grey and misty day but at least it was warmer and the sun eventually broke through at 7pm and then set an hour later. I found some wildlife lurking under the shrubs in the War Memorial park at the Headland, seemingly oblivious to the antics of dozens of butterflies above its head in the buddleia bushes. They were almost all Red Admirals, but I did spot my first Painted Lady of the year (extra). I think the underwings are just as pretty as the other sides.
