Great day

Early walk with Hetty and just getting ready to go out when I spotted a workman along the road looking at a manhole that wasn’t leaking water. Went out, redirected and he fixed the leak, then he had to fix it again. But all good now.
Into Hexham on the bus, not done that before, as it is our wedding anniversary and we wanted to have lunch and a glass of something.
Lovely lunch, nice glass of wine. Walk round abbey park and abbey and a couple of shops and bus home. Really enjoyed our day.

We were not hungry by the time I was planning to cook so hubby suggested we had something light, so just,had French toast and beans.

Sad news from sister as a friend from many years ago died this morning.
