Wet in Edinburgh

It was a very wet and miserable day in Edinburgh today. Not quite what we’d hoped when we booked an extra day on the end of our tour to spend in Edinburgh. Not helped by my feeling rather lousy today. I was too optimistic in thinking I had got away with a light dose of Covid. Still, we went to National Library of Scotland to look at their exhibitions and then to the Museum to see the Cold War exhibition which was very good. We bought a few gifts and spent some money and then I retired back to the hotel. My blip is a project on ‘books that have shaped you’ in the library and some sights from Edinburgh in the rain. Home tomorrow.
