'Trixie, you're stinky!!!'
All I've heard today is Ann saying, 'Trixie, you're stinky'?!
It's not my fault. It's been raining pretty much all day.
I went for my morning trek along the beach and around town and we both got absolutely soaked through to our skin. When we got back into the house, Ann took all her clothes off, no that wasn't a pretty sight?!, got dried & put new clothes on. I only got dried, so obviously I was a bit stinky, because even though I was dried really thoroughly I was still a bit damp. And damp dogs stink!!!
Ann went to work and when she came home, she said, 'Trixie, you still stink! The whole house stinks of wet dog'. Well, it's hardly likely to stink of wet cat is it??!!
Went to Asda. I went for a walk down the estuary first and I decided the water was calm enough to do a bit of swimming. By this time it wasn't actually raining but it was still very mizzly & drizzly. I got popped back into the car while Ann did a quick shopping whiz round Asda.
When she came back she was sooooooooo insulting....................... She said, Trixie, this car really stinks of wet dog.' Well it's hardly likely to smell of wet cat is it?
…..............And then on the drive home she opened all the windows.............................
…...............The car still smells of wet dog??!! ............And I still stink?!! …................But the rain has stopped and I've gobbled up my dinner and now I've gone outside to lie on the sun terrace for a little snooze in the fresh air.
Ann says I still stink, but I'm doing my best to keep my stinkiness out of the house. ...................I really am the bestest little Collie pup ever.
