Brian

Today I've been travelling down to Oxford to see the family and also do a bit of rebelling at Windsor.  The journey wasn't the worst, but it could have been better!  No problems with the first train, but then I had an hour for my connection at Stafford.  Luckily the sun was out and there's a rather charming park over the road from the station so I wandered around there, made friends with Brian the chameleon in the hot house and got a drink from the cafe.

Back in the station, my train was delayed for about half an hour due to a signal failure.  Hence a very busy train full of some quite irritale people.  There was lots of seat swapping as people got on with reservations with one family havin to move about 5 times.  It was very busy and also very slow.  I was very ready to get off the train. 

Brother in Law R picked me up from the station, but not before I'd been serandaded by a bunch of Swifties drinking pina coladas from cans.  E was in the car too which was a lovely surprise and it's going to be nice to spend a bit of time with them.
