Boomslang Drama

This highly venemous snake was in the gutter in the courtyard just above the full washing line today which was a bit off putting. I don't usually worry about snakes in the garden but I worry about Pumpkin who tends to chase anything that moves. Coda is much more laid back. The snake catcher came out and, with me as his assistant passing him the various hooks, he managed to remove the snake. He released it in the veld about six kms away (one wonders if it's slowly making its way back here!!)  My grandkids so wanted to see a snake while they were here, so I sent them a couple of videos of it being caught.
The weather has been rather windy again. I've had enough of windy days. Rain is badly needed now. 
Day eleven of no power!!  Every day there is a promise of "tomorrow"
