Gently down the stream

Dodging the damp

Today has really not been the day for wildlife blipping.  I did go out early to the reserve, though mainly because I wanted a chat with the Monday warden.  I stood around for half an hour but he didn't show, sensible man.  Five minutes into the wait it began to rain.

Once home I had an hour long battle with the NHS about a physio appointment they'd given me this week in Andover of all places.  As I have to use public transport I wasn't amused.  Andover is not even one of the three hospitals linked for these purposes and besides, Winchester Hospital has a perfectly good physio department in town.  I won.  I now have an appointment here at 8.30 tomorrow morning!

Later I went into the centre for a blip, by which time the rain had stopped though it was still damp and gloomy.  Wandering the back streets, I caught the one half-decent moment of light in this shot.  It could have looked good in mono, but don't you think the colours are rather fun?

Okay, that's me.  K says thanks for all the lovely comments you made on her paintings yesterday.  And have a good evening  xx
