Cormorant

The 35mm fixed lens of the Fuji was not ideal here but the camera is light and easy to carry and it was pouring with rain at this point.  I had to hang on to my umbrella and just take as many photographs as I could and hope the bird would not fly off.  The cormorant was very obliging and just stood there for me while further up was another cormorant and a heron.
