Japanese Anemones
For late Summer flowers in the garden these are hard to beat. They often continue to flower into October and are very easy to grow. We have the pink variety too.
A wet day. A visit to our bank in Kendal. We are lucky that it is still open I suppose. We even talked to a person. But they will not do anything for you. You have to go home and do it all on their website. This is OK for computer literate people like us.
But for some of our nighbours who live alone in their 80s it must be very difficult.
