Nannycatch

We headed out to our closest local hills, Dent and Flat Fell. Jess running backwards and forwards testing her knee after a torn meniscus and me walking, testing my Ticker.
It's a good test, about 5 miles and 1000ft of ascent/descent.  Jess went well, knee holding ok. I didn't quite make the summit of Dent at the end , going dizzy at times so backed off, live to fight another day..
Photo is of Jess heading down through Nannycatch valley, next to Nannycatch beck which leads to Nannycatch gate.. I've no idea where the name came from but I've never even seen a nanny down there, let alone caught one...
