Several weeks ago, a grown yellow lab showed up at the neighbors. Beautiful, sweet older dog. They found out who owned her and she was returned. It turns out, we had always felt bad for the dog. . Th y kept her on a perimeter fence way out in the yard. Their boys are grown and she never get attention. She was not abused and was physically taken care of but not really loved anymore.
Fast forward to Friday. The owner called the neighbor to see if anyone would take Daisy.
We are suckers, I know, but why not add her to the retirement home? :—) She’s at least 10 years old. She’s great with Bella, the cat, and all the birds. She and Buzz will have to work out some issues but he’s been very patient and gentle with her.
Meet Daisy!
On another note, my challenging week has continued. This morning in church, I stood up , started to take a step, and felt a pop in my left ankle. I ended up on the floor. The tendons have popped in this ankle before. It’s swollen and purple so I have it wrapped and elevated.
Be blessed.
