Dahlia

This Dahlia comes up every year in my front garden it's one of a few I planted quite a few years ago and is the only one left.

Another month starts.

Not a bright day today quite cloudy and overcast with a chilly Autumnal start.

My Great Granddaughter Caitlin called today with her friend Charlie. She had bought some new jeans which wanted the legs shortening, so as her Nan is away she came to ( Great ) Grandma Jacky to do it. It was nice to see her, I can hardly believe she will be 18 next month, there has been a lot of water under the bridge since she was born, bad water.
Anyhow lovely to see her and hear about her going to York Collage she is going to  do Business Studies, Once again Tanzy was over the moon to see her, she loves family visiting.

Otherwise, a bit of tree pruning as it's brown garden bin day collection  tomorrow, no room left in the bin now. Plus plant watering, no rain again. Like my neighbour said, beginning of the year we wondered if it would ever stop now we wonder if it will ever rain again, I know some places have had lots of rain but our little corner hasn't had anything much over the last few weeks.

Enjoyed the latest Grace story on TV even if I have read the books.
