Festival!

We had tickets to a festival called “Music at the Multiverse” at the Crawick site near Sanquhar. I really wanted to go to see one of my favourite bands, Tidelines, who were playing at 7pm.

Joanna very kindly said she would look after Jess so we dropped her off at lunchtime. She was very happy.

All went well at the Multiverse until 6.30, when it started to rain, not just drizzle, but real heavy rain with thunder and lightning. Lots of folk left, and I was briefly tempted, but D and I put on our Dutch Army ponchos and sat it out.

It turns out that ponchos are great for keeping warm and dry and for dancing in, too. I sang along to every song :-)
