The Natural

You might imagine, having six children, that I'm good with kids. Certainly, I like to think I'm good with mine and I enjoy spending time with children I know well, but put me in a situation - such as a birthday party, with a dozen kids I don't know - and, frankly, I'm at a bit of a loss.

I always think it says something very lovely about people who are natural with children and who can get on with them immediately. My friend Dean (pictured above with Dan and Abi) is one such character. Filthmonger extraordinaire on Twitter, he is a complete charmer in reality and an immediate hit with the kids.
