First signs of change

Colours are just starting to change. A few leaves are falling. It’s still hot, but there are frequent storms and even, tonight, our first drops of rain in a long time. Our Irish friends are staying in Chamonix this week and they came for Sunday lunch and a walk down to watch the lumberjack competition this afternoon. The lunch was great, the lumberjack event very disappointing. So we went for a beer until the thunder started. Koj lost it and there had to be a car rescue. Poor pup.
