Hornet's nest

Had a lazy get up and decided not to run this morning. We did a long walk instead from the house to a country park and then back via the shops to pick up bread for lunch. 
The walk was not particularly exciting but took in the river, housing estates, a park and a bit of countryside. There was also a stop for coffee and flapjack at the country park. 
We did see a large hornet's next in a tree. There was lots of activity and I would have stayed and watched but S is much more wary of hornets.
