Go Grimaldi
There are many different shapes of ship on the seas these days, and many of them seem to be near the south coast. This "auto transporter" of Grimaldi Lines steamed past us when we walked along the spit at Calshot, huge among the jetskis, kite surfers, and dinghies. She headed for the Isle of Wight for quite a while before turning west along the Solent. I expect that GPS navigation systems make navigating inland channels much easier than of old, but it still looked enourmous among the smaller users of the water.
