Finally, a Red Admiral

There are usually dozens of these marvellous butterflies on the friendly plants in Elford Walled Garden. There was this rather faded one, plus two whites. That was all.

It was a lovely visit, though. I sat by the River Tame and took a couple of phone calls, and as I was there, the kingfisher flew past. 

The blip today uploaded normally, thank goodness. I had a few problems over the last couple of days. I gather I was not alone. Thank you for sorting it, blip management.
