Perth Station

I had a meeting in Perth today so biked to the station and took the train. It was refreshing to see the coast and the green fields - the crops now quite high but not yet ripe.

Perth Station is quite large with several different parts. It was once a grand and an important interchange. Today, like many stations, it is looking jaded and in need of some love and attention. However the architecture and original features such as the lights and large station clocks remain striking. It is easy to imagine it busy with people and steam trains as it would have been in its heyday.
