Six Wives

Mr C and I went up to the National Portrait Gallery to see the Six Wives exhibition which closes next week.  We walked around the exhibition, stopped for tea and cake before exploring more of the gallery.

A walk around Trafalgar Square and up to Covent Garden stopping en route to book a table at the Real Greek.  We had a good mooch around stopping for a liquid refreshment and then back to the restaurant for an early supper.  The dishes are presented on a stand like an afternoon tea.  Very nice it was too except the hot dishes were cold…. I should have said something but I didn’t.

The weather was cloudy and cool and I was pleased I took my jumper.
