Playing with their nephew

Niece Jess came to visit in the morning with her two little ones. Here is Oscar playing with Jon and Ben! This is Jon and Ben’s train set from when they were little! Ben didn’t get too much time as he had to leave for work, but we enjoyed Oscar and Tilly for a bit longer. So good to see her again after ages. Really pleased she came for a visit.

Then a quick rest before the next set of visitors, friends David and Kate. David is good mates with Martin and really wanted to see how he was progressing with his recovery, having had a few eye issues himself when he was a little younger. Loved seeing them too.

The boys were both working in the evening so I did manage to do a bit of cooking. A more “throw it together” kind of meal than cooking from scratch, so not too difficult.
