Flowers

Kent had to go to work at the plant in Lumberton today and so I was left to do the grocery shopping on my own this morning.

I’m not the biggest fan of having to load and unload 3 cases of bottled water especially in this heat but it is what it is.

On the list of things to get, Kent had written, flowers for the living room and I had no problem getting those!

Once I was home and had gotten everything put away it was time to get outside and get the hummingbird feeders cleaned.

As always seems to happen, when the feeders were down, a female came looking for a drink. With no feeder, she spent time getting food from the Dahlia bloom.

Once the feeders were refilled and hanging back up, I turned the porch fan on and sat out there and read for a while.

I wasn’t back in the house long when the sky darkened and then opened up and dropped an 1” of rain on us.
