Random act of Kindness

We went down to Kelso today as G and I were playing in a golf competition at The Roxburghe. It was a very slow game- 5 hours.
Meanwhile we ladies browsed the shops in the town. There are lots of lovely independent shops in Kelso . We were in one and were browsing and chatting to the lovely young girl working there. After a while she said would we like the bunches of flowers as they were almost past their best. The florist had told her she could give them away . Of course we said yes and were delighted with them. Such a lovely thing to do. They have a good few days left . When the men eventually got back we had a BBQ in the evening sun. It’s been a lovely day, just what I needed!
