Just messing around with the gang

A beautiful day, too nice to be inside. 

This afternoon we took Amber over to Rocester to walk round the lake. We were lucky to find a parking space, there are only about 12, so a bit of a lottery. The ice cream van was there, so the obligatory ‘99’s were purchased to eat on the way round. 

There were loads of ducks, geese, swans and birds who cohabit quite happily. The wide path is very popular with toddlers learning to ride their bikes and groups of wildlife, who are unconcerned by the presence of humans. They weren’t even bothered by Amber, she was a bit twitched by them and stayed close to B throughout. 

S had another trip to hospital for a day case procedure. R was available to provide transport, I’m pleased to say, as he had to be in Derby for 6.45, so leaving home at 6.15. Far too early for me. He’s safely home now, pain free due to a hefty dose of the ‘happy stuff’. You can tell by the rather glazed eyes!!!
