Potentilla

Today's the day ........................ when summer arrived

Ironic that it should be the very last day of summer when we get something approaching how you might expect a hot summer day to be.

I've spent most of it out in the garden - once Tim and Dominic went on their way, after the obligatory family picture (see extra).  We've had all our meals outside too which has been lovely.  The above is a large bush of Potentilla davurica 'Abbotswood', still with lots of papery white flowers.

I think tomorrow is to be good too - fingers crossed .....................!
