Autumn Arrives

Meteorological autumn arrives tomorrow and, as you can see here, the trees are preparing for it. Summer took a while to arrive and may still have some Sunshine for us, but I do love autumn... the colours, of course, but also the scents of earthy decomposition and mushroom.

We hadn't been to Westonbirt for some time, and it was a delight to wander through the woodland. Everything feels better in the trees, even having had a chat with my mother (who is determined it's time to go and is eager for it but is equally determined to be independent in her own home, hundreds of miles away... sigh).

Anyway... all part of the game, eh. In other fun I found a link to a NASA site that is able to spell out your name and other words using elements of Earth 's topography. Here's incredibish in the extra. In other fun of the other sort, both planning applications that together would cumulatively double the size of my village are now active and public. All part of the game, eh.
