George (Day 3400)

A fairly quiet start to the day, mostly sitting around watching YouTube before
my beautiful wife and I headed across to Mum's. I stayed at Mum's to keep an eye on the dogs while HV took mum to the horses and got out for a ride. It was a cracking day for it. It seems such a long time since there has been sunshine, warmth and blue skies. There was just enough of a breeze to keep the midges at bay.
After their ride HV and Mum came back for lunch, then we all ventured out to wander with the dogs. Just a short walk but grand to be out in the sunshine. Mum took Sigyn home and HV and I dropped in to see the horses. I scratched George while HV did the field chores.
My knee still feels really good. No pain when walking and very little swelling. I am taking it easy and being really careful moving around but I have still managed to rack up nearly 7000 steps today. Not bad for the day after knee surgery.
