The Wraps Are Off

The plastic wrapping has been removed from the village war memorial after the recent cleaning process.

They have done a great job and it was looking fabulous in the sunshine this morning. Sadly there is not really an angle to view the memorial without cars/road signs/litter bins. At least the contractors fence has been removed.

I left out the two corner posts nearest the camera as they still have some ‘No Parking’ cones in front of them…I think these have been left rather optimistically…I believe that there are moves afoot by the Parish Council to get a full time parking ban around the memorial - we shall see what happens.
