Lesser Diving Beetle

Last night I felt like death on a dish! Every bit of me ached. Well, my left ear ached, as did my neck, lower back, hips and left ankle. They all seemed to blend in together...

At bedtime I took a couple of the strongest painkillers in the house and I slept like a log - unsurprising since I'd been fighting sleep most of the night, apart from when the rugby was on to keep me distracted.

This morning when I finally woke up just after 8 o'clock I felt much better. Not that I have done a lot, just a wash-load. Otherwise I've just read. My current book took some getting into, but it's clicked now

Brian had to go back to work today - on a Saturday! A rubbish day for ending a holiday! At least it was only a half day. 

He came home and after lunch we walked round the Arboretum to find Blips. We noticed this beetle in the pond, I don't think I've seen one before...

Now we're having our first issue with the new Sky box - trying to get it to access the internet so we can watch the Rugby League on the red button.
