Saeed

Many years ago now, I used to work as a community development worker with the local Somali community. Back then, I spent a lot of time based at Merseyside Somali Community Association’s building but it’s been years now since I’ve been back inside. Today, however, I was finally back for a meeting and it was good to catch up with Saeed, the Association’s Co-Ordinator, and to discover that the building was looking in reasonably good shape and that they‘ve got funding secured for the next few years. It felt like old times!
