The rope climbing frame in Victoria Park, Bath.

I've been meaning to blip this for a while... now I've done it, it hasn't turned out quite how I wanted :-(.

I went to the park on my way to work this morning (I cycle past it every day anyway) to avoid taking photos in a play area when kids were around. The place was empty apart from a couple of park attendants. One of them came over to see what I was doing with the camera. She seemed worried that I might be 1) taking pictures of children (even though the place was empty) or 2) taking photos commercially (chance'd be a fine thing!).

There was no problem and she was quite apologetic about it... I just thought it was interesting that she thought it was necessary to come over and warn me. Would taking photos commercially in a public park be against the rules somehow?

Oh, and to continue a mini-theme from last week... my work involves research into the use of social networks in education.
