An old home …..

….. ….. ….. on the Gibbston backroad. This used to be inhabited by a roadman and his wife, who brought up their family here. The story goes that if the job was too easy it was beneath him, and if it was too hard it was too dangerous.

A neighbour & I had lunch at the nearby Kinross Café & Winery. We shared a roasted lamb shank that fell off the bone. Beautifully cooked.
