Henley on Thames

I spent a very pleasant afternoon here with a friend, P, from Cairo days. It’s been a while since we last caught up and he’s now living near Henley so it was a good place to meet. Lovely old buildings, an interesting rowing museum and an easy trip from Paddington Station. A very busy station due to the Notting Hill carnival, trespassers on tracks, something thrown on overhead train wires.. a delayed journey home..
