A long day.

I left home at 0400 with Vicki's Ed for company and assistance heading south for Kaiapoi to drop my suite off to be recovered, I'do the return trip in a couple of weeks to collect it, around 800 kms (500 miles).

The main Blip is the snow capped ranges in Kaikoura and the Extra is my car and hired trailer that towed very well it was also ideal for my use.
We stopped at Waikari for lunch of roasted pork belly roll, very tasty too.

Temperatures ranged from 8 degrees to 16 degrees but the car was a constant 20. Some rain was experienced.
