Latitudes II
Another harvest photo. This time on a hillside near to Viano. I used to stay in an apartment in an old farm house hidden up on the ridgetop. The owner had converted a part of the old stall on the ground floor into a small two bedroom apartment with a nice patio out the front door looking out more or less into this direction. Not too much of a view in the summer months, but it opened up nicely in the fall and winter. I'd often wake at night in the autumn to the sound of the horses munching on the chestnuts which are in abundance here. A bit disconcerting the first time until I figured out where the noise was coming from...
Great mountain bike ride on lookers left going down the tractor path... or nice climb coming back up!
Nice in large. Not sure how the guy drove his car down to keep his friend company on the harvester... sitting patiently with his knees pulled up to his chest in a pensive mood.
