Better get the kettle on.
This end of my workshop gets the full power of the sun and that and the water butt leaning against it ended up with two rotten planks. Luckily I had some offcuts of the cladding in the garage so I could cut out the damaged parts and replace them.
All done and two coats of Sadolin applied.
The offcuts have been there since 2008, every time we cleared out the garage I refrained from binning them - that was a good idea wasn’t it?
