Authorising

Post-pandemic, we’re no longer in the weekly shopping habit. When I look back at my diaries from “the end of days,” I see they’re filled with comments about how marvellous weekly planning is. It certainly was cheaper than ad hoc basket filling. Today was no different; I am in ad hoc mode, and I went to the Co-op at the end of the day to pick up a few items.

The photo is timed at 19:11. I really should have been in my Tai Chi class at that time. I haven’t been since before we went to Lanzarote because of the pain in my arm. I feel it’s settled down into a less painful place, but I do not have any movement. If I don’t start classes again soon, I’ll probably find that I’ve forgotten everything. This afternoon, an email came from Stephen with the details of next term. I need to make a decision. I’d like to restart, but I don’t want to cause myself any kind of injury. We’ll see.
