Golden

Today, I was back at work and in the office. I don't know what happened on my journey, but it took much longer than usual. It might have been because I waited for a crowded Edgware Road tube to leave Wimbledon so that I could board the next one and be guaranteed a seat.

Most of the day was filled with the usual catch-up meetings.

In the evening, to Dear Grace with AD. We decided to walk to Shepherd's Bush for cheaper beer in one of the pubs. As we passed the towers near White City, the evening sun was reflected off them, creating a golden glow. It looked pretty impressive.

We spent too long in the Defectors Weld. It stayed open longer than I remembered, and when the last orders were called, I realised I did not have many options for the train home, so I requested an Uber, getting back through the door at 1am and making the unfortunate decision to have a cup of tea before bed. And then dozing on the sofa in the early hours.
