Seductive Advertising

Walking into Plymouth I noticed the way vapes are colourfully marketed and attractively displayed. In old shopfronts the lighting and positioning draws the attention of people passing by. In one shop a young girl with long blond hair sitting on a stool and cleary visible from outside added to the glamourous appeal (for some at least). I don't smoke and have never tried vaping but we all have our vices. One of mine is to occassionally buy a bag of sweets. The same sort of advertising and marketing ploys can be found in confectionary, and numerous other types of products. I did succomb this week to buying a bag of liquorice allsorts. I am not advertising or endorsing Maynards Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts and if I was I could only expect to reach a relatively small  audience, but I could not resist using the packaging for my blip today.
