At the health centre
A catching up day - food shopping, washing, gardening, reading. The most exciting thing was going to the health centre to get my second shingles vaccination. I’m a big fan of being protected against horrible things. My mum had shingles in her later life and it was really painful. I also had a pneumonia jab a couple of years ago. Looking forward to the flu jab, available soon, according to the practice nurse. She didn’t know about Covid jabs though. There’s so many people have it at the moment- hope there’ll be one again this autumn.
I always try to get a blip at the health centre - it has beautiful, rather tangled grounds. These are the four I chose from this visit.
