Bus Pass Walk

Backblip for Tuesday 27/8.  Just 3 of us walking today and 2 buses used.  A walk along the river path from Bingley to Myrtle Park, then up the hillside and across to Beckfoot, encountering a field full of bullocks (inquisitive but not intimidating) along the way.  Then along to Cottingley and to Dowley Gap to walk back to Bingley along the canal. Along the way there is a boat planted with flowers in memory of a young woman who lived in a narrow boat but sadly lost her life here.  Her friends kindly made and tend this little memorial to her.  Main image is of the river as we crossed Cottingley Bridge.  Other sights mentioned are in extras.
