Daffodil day

It is daffodil day today, with street collections for cancer research. I decided to bring some daffodils home as well as donating to the appeal. My mother, sister, aunt, cousin and I have all been affected but luckily only two have died from cancer. It seems to be such a common problem these days, but so many of us have been lucky with early detection and treatment: much more than a generation ago.
