The NHS

Yesterday was a write off, I didn't get out of bed, so no blip.

I'm not eating which as anyone who knows me would say "Oooo that's not like im!"

Despite being in bed I'm not sleeping either, I have a clanging headache and feel like I have been run over, I'm cold one minute and sweating the next but I haven't got a runny nose or a cough.

I tried to make an appointment to see the doctor this morning, it wasn't going to be straightforward but I was pleasantly surprised, I was rung back twice before 10:30, first by a Nurse who when I mentioned that I work with livestock referred me to a Doctor who rang and asked me a few questions before inviting me in for a blood test at 14:30 this afternoon, should have the results for Friday.

General consensus is that I have a virus and I need to keep taking the paracetamol and drinking plenty of fluids.

I don't really feel like looking at the laptop for too long so I will probably miss commenting for a couple of days.
