Or the cow as the case may be - do you know how to tell the difference between Highland Cattle sexes by looking at the horns??

Another warm day on South Uist.

The boys went fishing and came home empty handed whilst Niamh and I had a girls' morning at Hebridean Jewellery - and didn't come home empty handed! It was only junk jewellery for us I'm afraid as the real stuff was out of our range! They do make amazing hot chocolates though!

Lots of running around doing last minute maintenance jobs including the dreaded septic tank - thankfully, my duties only extended to multiple flushing operations!

And so another wonderful trip to South Uist and its Hebridean neighbours draws to a close...so sad to be leaving!
